Spring fair at Massaro Farm, 40 Ford Road, Woodbridge. Garden Club sells annual plant and seedling sale, includes flowering annuals and perennials, organic herbs and vegetables. 10:30am Chicken Owning Workshop, enter a Raffle to win a chicken coop (valued at $700); at noon, traditional maypole dance led by Bill Fischer and the Wry Bred Band; at 1 p.m., herb workshop: Presentation on types & classes of herbs, history, planting & care. “The Tulip Time Fair” on Sat., May 11, at Christ Church, Bethany, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.Tag sale held in the church carriage shed, a silent auction, new and vintage jewelry, one-of-a-kind needlework and crafts, home décor, baked goods and candy, assorted chocolate chip cookies, garden plants, basket raffles brimming with valuable gift certificates, nearly new ladies’ clothing, and many perfect gifts for Mother. Soup and salad luncheon, strawberry shortcake with homemade biscuits and real whipped  cream, hot dogs, hamburgers, baked beans and sauerkraut. Rain or shine. Tag sale — Orange Historical Society tag sale on the town Green, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., 605 Orange Center Road.  The Academy Antique Shop will be open as well and will present their collection of art prints and oil paintings for sale.  Don’t forget Mother’s Day and those spring wedding gifts.
