Orange artist Rosemary Benivegna will be the featured artist at the Town Hall Gallery in May and June.

“Views of New England”, an exhibit of watercolors, will have an opening reception Wednesday, May 8,  from 5 – 7 pm.

For this exhibit, subject matter is divided into three categories; assemblages of traditional New England architecture,  transformed into simplified, dramatic compositions expressing  a nostalgic remembrance of them; candid glimpses of people in exterior settings, which may suggest a story for the observer, based upon personal experiences; and emotionally charged landscapes of saturated colors, that express a mood rather than depicting reality.

The exhibit can be viewed during Town Hall business hours, Mon. – Fri. 8:30 AM – 4:30 pm.  For more information contact the Gallery chairperson at 203-795-4970.
