Shredding Day in Bethany

The Bethany Lions Club will sponsor a “Document Shredding Day” on Saturday, April 20.  The event will be held at the  Recycling Center, 719 Amity Road, between the hours of 9 a.m. and noon, rain or shine.
ProShred-Connecticut based in Wallingford, will provide a truck with self-contained shredding capability.  All shredding will be done on site.  To expedite the process, Lions members will help unload vehicles.
This is a convenient opportunity for town residents (households only) to dispose of old papers and documents, tax records, bank statements, etc.,  in a safe and secure environment.  The service is free of charge, although a nominal donation amount will be suggested to help ongoing Lions Charities activities.
